There were so many shops that made beautiful pieces, but I didn’t feel like any of them reflected my own personal style. I wanted earrings that I could wear over and over again, season after season, every single day. So I started playing with shapes and tones and in early March 2019, Simply Made by Bekah was born.

Founded by Heather Sheppard in the Junction (Toronto, ON), Knots and Pipes designs and constructs streamlined accessories while adhering to a slow fashion ethos. Using raw, recycled or intentionally sourced materials whenever possible, Sheppard aims to create timeless pieces that aren’t replaced every season. Statement accessories that add can add impact to an otherwise minimalist look. Merging the skills she learned from her mother and grandmother in rural Ontario (the crocheting, sewing and leatherwork) coupled with a small batch production mantra, Knots and Pipes was formed.
